Something Father Marc said earlier made me think about a lot.
“… The consequences of our sins ripple…”
He was talking about the sad stuff that happened to King David after the sins he committed.
Sometimes we think we’re being punished. But what we don’t realize (or rarely do, at least) is that they are just the consequences of what we’ve done.
But you know what I think? It’s okay :) instead of letting those consequences make us bitter, we should think about how the sins (the ones that led to those horrible consequences) we committed are forgiven. Already forgiven! In the account that we ADMIT them, of course. And that we love and continue to have faith in Papa Jesus.
For me, KNOWING that Papa Jesus forgives my mistakes because he loves me… makes it alllll bearable to live through the consequences (whatever they may be). It’s enough. More than enough. :)
PA: Why does an “STD check” have an acuity of 2?!
Doc: And the plot thickens… as does her discharge.
Buahahahaha! I’m sorry.. I don’t think I should laugh.. But I couldn’t help it TT-TT
Gah. I wanna have experiences like that toooooo.
Or conversations like that, I should say. Not the “having STD” part!
